5G Technology - The Changing World of Connectivity and Speed
What is 5G
The generation is also associated with this
changing colour the look of the phone. Which has completed the journey from 1G
to 4G and is now moving towards 5G Technology.
It will be very interesting to know what is this
upcoming 5G? What is the technology used in this and what can change the
current industry.
Every 10 years, there is an increase of one
generation in mobile technology. Like the first generation (1G) in 1980, the
second generation (2G) in 1990, the third generation (3G) in 2000, the fourth
generation (4G) in 2010, now the fifth generation.
The world is moving towards modern and smart
technology. This is the fifth generation wireless OFDM (Orthogonal
frequency-division multiplexing) based technology, specially engineered to
increase the speed and responsiveness of the wireless network.
You can download full HD movie in 3 seconds. This
will become much faster with 5G network. 5G is capable of delivering 20 GB per
second speed in traffic capacity and network efficiency, along with the MM
Wave, which helps to determine the connection and reduce the network traffic.
The 5G network will provide such speed, which
can experience the reality of incremental in real time, will also help in the
development of hardware working on reality.
This technique will be the foundation of virtual
reality, auto driving, and the Internet of Things. This will not only improve
the experience of using your smartphone but also help in the development of
medical infrastructure and product.
Features of Technology
▪ Will be up to 10 gbps data rate. With this the network will
be
updated at the rate of 10 to 100X.
▪ Will work at 100X bandwidth high speed.
▪ Provides 100% coverage.
▪ Up to 90 percent will reduce the energy
reaching the network.
▪ A video streaming will decrease, video
will play at one click
▪ More data volume per unit area.
▪ Increased capacity connectivity with more devices.
▪ Will work even if the battery is low.
▪ The network will not slow down even if there are more devices.
▪ Wi-Fi will set up the frequency and connect the device.
▪ Foreign technology will be ready in the backyard.
The 5G Network Country
According to the Global Mobile Suppliers Association data for April 2019,
5G Network was demonstrated by 224 operators in 88 countries of the world. The same
figure was 13 operators and 21 countries in November 2016.
South Korea was the first 5G Network country in the world to launch
a 5G network in April 2019. Swedish Company Ericsson has claimed that up to
2025 65% of global users will use 5G.
Ericsson is considering investing 238.30 million dollar in Brazil - A new
line for fifth generation technology is also being considered.

Challenges of 5G Technology
5G has been talked about in the country for the last 2 years and now it is used
in 5G Network countries like China, USA, Japan and South Korea.
5G is the fifth generation of mobile
network. 5G is based on a similar mobile networking principle. Like the
previous network, it is a software based network. Which has been developed to
increase the speed and efficiency of wireless networks.
This technique also increases the
amount of data. Which can be transmitted over a wireless network but if the
software crashes or a network error occurs, all routes on the same channel or
frequency may be blocked.
5G technology is capable of Sub-6 Band, with frequencies typically
between 3Ghz and 6Ghz. We have known many complaints that radio frequencies are
often not available due to rain, the same applies to this frequency.
Even for wireless the question of speed
arises if the primary wiring is weak. However, due to the high traffic in this
system, researchers are now considering using above 6Ghz. They are ready to
work on 24Ghz-300GHz spectrum. Experts also call it the millimeter-wave.
The technology expert says that 5G will
provide very well bandwidth, so the limitations will be reduced, especially the
fingerprint technology will directly benefit from this.
Bringing 5G technology is going to be
very expensive. Network operators will have to delete the existing system as it
requires a frequency greater than 3.5Ghz, which is more than the bandwidth used
in 3G or 4G.
The bandwidth of the sub-6 GHz spectrum
is also limited. So its speed can be less than a millimetre-wave. In addition,
the millimetre-wave is more effective in short distances and will not be able
to work in obstacles.
It can be observed through trees, and
even during rain, which means you will need to install a lot of hardware to
implement 5G with hastily.
5G Technology has been expanded but not as people expect, even under
current rates, 5G will not be able to surpass 3G and 4G until 2025.
However, it is estimated that by 2022,
the number of 5G smartphones will reach 75 crores and by 2025, 5G connections
will be equal to 100 crores.
Apart from this there is also the issue
of security and privacy with 5G technology, which will be known only after
further use. Given the current use of 5G technology, the cost behind it
will also increase.
The hardware used in 5G technology will
have to be installed closer than existing towers, so that, the cost behind it
will also increase. However, the advantages, and challenges of the technology
will be known only after implementation.
The Development for 5G
were first announced in india by Jio at
Reliance Industries Limited's in Annual General Meeting 2020.
At the event, Mukesh Ambani had announced that Jio has developed a 5G
solution and that it will be ready for trials as soon as 5G spectrum is
available and can be ready for field deployment in 2021.
That will enable us to launch a world-class 5G service in India, using 100
per cent home grown technologies and solutions.
